Kenneth Tay and the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir presents The Redhill Passion (2025), a musical retelling of the legendary tale of Bukit Merah, where a clever boy saves his village from deadly swordfish.

CD Release

This album showcases sacred Scottish choral music, much of it little known, from the repertoire of the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir, directed by Katy Lavinia Cooper.

Ave Regina Caelorum (2021) is featured amongst the esteemed company of compositions by James MacMillan, Rory Boyle, Janet Beat, Ronald Stevenson and Kenneth Elliot.

The Marian Consort

Duo Seraphim (2024) received its world premiere with the award-winning ensemble in a programme of sumptuous Scottish Renaissance polyphony and new music by composers living and working in Scotland.

Organ Music in a Different Light

Perpaduan (2024), a commissioned work by the SSO Organ series, was performed by Isaac Koh on the Klais Pipe Organ of the Victoria Concert Hall.

Singapore Symphony Choruses

Can there be any day but this? (2023), commissioned by the Singapore Symphony Choruses for their first live standalone concert as a trio, received its world premiere on 27th May 2023.

World Symposium on Choral Music 2023

Ave Regina Caelorum (2021) was featured in the Southeast Asian reading session led by Beverly Shangkuan-Cheng at the WSCM in April 2023, Istanbul, Turkey.

Bartók Rojak: 7 Pieces from Mikrokosmos

The performance of a string transcription of selected movements from Béla Bartók’s Mikrokosmos was conducted by Hiew Tzejia, with soloists Huixin Hu and Paul Docherty.

Multi-Generation Choir Diestedde

A collaboration with Raúl Huesca Valverde, Karl Garette Melegrito and Ernest Cho in an open rehearsal in Wadersloh, Germany.

Home Is Where the Heart Is

A collaboration with wildlife artist Chew Choon on his painting, Wild Yak on the Tibetan Plateau, birthed a choral composition, To See a World (2022).

Ensemble Altera Composition Competition

The Lamb (2022) was shortlisted among the top 10 submissions for a composition competition by one of the fastest rising professional choirs in the United States.
