Jubilate Deo!

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Be thankful unto him, bless his name

For the Lord is good;
his mercy everlasting

Come before his throne with singing.

Psalm 100 (adapted from KJV)

Jubilate Deo is one of the most frequently used Psalms in liturgical worship. The Psalmist invites the people of God to approach Him and exhort the name of God with thanksgiving. I found it apt to reorder the stanzas of this Psalm, as God’s love is freely shared with anyone who would first enter his gates. As with the derived word, “Jubilant”, this piece should be energetic, joyful and exuberant.
